Re: New starters
If the poll on the blog is anything to go by the vast majority of people will be getting the grass starter. At one point more people voted for the grass starter than the fire and water starter put together

Re: New starters
That's another reason I'll get the fire.
I don't wanna go with the majority and get the grass.
Plus, fire torches grass in battles,
so maybe I'll have a 1-up battling against my friends early on. <_<

Re: New starters
Well, considering I've always chosen water-starter on every 1st playthrough in previous generations, I'll stick to same principle here. Still, I don't really get all hate the water starter gets...

Re: New starters
on serebii.com they have shown what are the evo's of the three starters (there still could be an error) and I am not sure about the water final evo (still going to pick it) and the grass final evo looks like it could be related to milotic.

Last I've checked they're pretty sure these are about 90%-100% true.WhoKnows_WhoCares wrote:the ones you were talking about are probably fake, serebii still cant get confirmation that they are legit

Re: New starters
While I was disinclined to believe the shoddy reasoning Serebii gave for their legitimacy at first as anyone can upload to 2ch, Pokexperto's backing gives it more credence. All this secret source nonsense is a bit ridiculous but Pokexperto did have access to the entire list of new Pokémon from last gen ahead of time, which they of course also got from a secret source, so I'm inclined to believe them.

Re: New starters
I'm kind of hoping that it is false.... at least for the final evo of the water type. For some reason the final water evo seems to be off for me.Rovay wrote:Last I've checked they're pretty sure these are about 90%-100% true.WhoKnows_WhoCares wrote:the ones you were talking about are probably fake, serebii still cant get confirmation that they are legit

I was hoping for this to be wrong, seeing as the fire pig evo looks lame, agree?

Well, there are only so much shapes, animals, plants etc. that you can base Pokemon on, before you run out of resonable concept and ideas. And most of them were already used in previous generations.Pikachu3828 wrote:Personally I think they all look like. Still, concidering what could they make in their minds, these evos don't look all that bad...

and the fact that it doesn't look like a sea otter.... I really liked that about it's first two forms.Rovay wrote:It's the moustache that feels wrong, right?cheerio495 wrote:

Re: New starters
Well... you can always cancel it's evolution or give it an Everstone. But I agree, first two look better and cuter.cheerio495 wrote:and the fact that it doesn't look like a sea otter....
