Roark Bug

Just traded one of my 2 koffings as part of todays trade with Roark. Its taken my Koffing, its recognised i've traded with him (my count has gone up when i check the upgrade kit section) - but i dont seem to have my new Panphy. I Don't mind much since it's a pokemon i already have and can breed - but if it was a pokemon i'd not got before i think it'd be very annoyed this happened. Dont know if its a one off or not, i only have a male koffing left and i do not want to risk losing it

I've traded him a couple of Koffing's and have gotten no Phanpy in return, though I'm also not complaining since I don't need a Phanpy but I rather it be fixed in case next tuesday it's something I don't have. Plus for the people who might not have Phanpy. So to clarify Rorak is NOT giving out Phanpy's or any other pokemon even though he's taking the Koffing's and it does count as a trade in the mining upgrade area

The strange thing is that i did a trade with Roark in the first week for a gligar, a pokemon i didnt have - and it went fine, i have the gligar and everything.

Its strange how this isnt working now

I did the same thing, traded with him the week before and got Gligar just fine...this is very strange...perhaps he has a thing against Phanpy's Or maybe the fact that it's not a 'new' pokemon it's messing up, no idea I just hope we can get it fixed by next tuesday

If it worked with Gligar then it's a bug specifically to do with Phanpy which I'll fix when I get back.

i just traded roark a bronzor (id was 5121) for meditite. my pokedex recorded meditite as caught but i did not recieve a meditite in my box.

Yup - same thing happend to me...

There is definatly a problem with the handing out of pokemon via roark trade - unfortunatly Pikachu3828 would know how to fix the code but doesnt have access to it, which I have access but i have no idea where the problem is, let alone how to fix it...

Sorry guys, this one will have to be a problem for a bit longer

i hope the solution turns out to be an easy fix. same problem for trade today. at least i got Aron recorded as caught today and Meditite when it was up. lol

I've found a spare moment and have had a quick glance at the code. I can identify exactly where the problem is but not what exactly the problem is. It shouldn't be a hard fix but without the proper environment to test things out it's not something I'd be willing to attempt to change right now as I couldn't be sure exactly whether the fix I'd implement would work. I also can't explain why Gligar happened to work the first week.

I'm afraid a fix for this one will probably have to wait until I get back.

Dang it...and I traded him a Cubone too... I really hope once you fix this the trades circle back around because so far we've missed the chance to get like...what 2 or 3 pokemon now..?

3 - meditite, girafarig and now aron - although i dont think anyone who have what roark was asking for the the girafarig

if i remember correctly, what he asks for and what he offers is random each week - so eventually he'll offer those pokemon again

so I've traded 4 cubone's with roark for arons and I haven't gotten one arron in my pokebox.....

edit: seems several people are having this problem, lol out loud
