Hi all. Heard about this site on a different forum and decided to give it a look. Something to do in addendum to my pets at dragcave.

Looked around the site for a bit and a bit confused on how to get started. Got an egg at the abandoned eggs area with Elm, but is that the only way to get pokemon?? Also when I try to view my breeder's card, all that comes up is a box with a red X in it. Am I doing something wrong there? In short, I be a newbie. plz help lol

Hmm... your another one who's managed to get a pokemon without actually registering for the adoption agency first. usuall you answer a few questions from rowan and pick one of 4 starters (well 6, but 3 of them are under the random option of ???) - which then gives you a starter, 5 eggs and your breeders card

can you remember exactly what you did getting on this site and geting an egg from elm? it would help us out to know where there is a problem on people bypassing the registration bit

And I had that same problem and ended up having to make a new account. I'm pretty sure it's the fact that it's really easy to miss the tutorial/intro/whatever. Again, I would suggest that it get its own page, so that it's accessible to people who miss it.

Well, I can't remember exactly, but I remember looking at someone else's pokemon and somewhere there was the two options of login or register and I clicked register. Sorry I can't be more exact, but my brain sucks like that. Will I have to delete my account and try again or something? If so where am I supposed to go?

well you dont have the option of deleting your own account... After Registering, can you remember what you did next? - you should have gone to the main adoption page where you'd have been greated by Rowan

I'll see what i can come up with this end as for solving your problem - but it may take me awhile, i'm swamped with work. maybe the other admin, Pikachu3828 may be able to help as well

Let's see..... I think that after registering, I got the email and the url in it took me here to the forum and when I couldn't remember how to get to the adopt page, I just clicked on a person's pokemon breeder card. At least that's what I think I did. Just got outta class and what I did was over a 40 minute period five hours ago, so my memory of details is a bit fuzzy.

I'm online right now so what I can do is delete your current Pokémon to start you fresh and then you go to this link to get your breeder card and 6 starter Pokémon:

I have deleted your Pokémon so you can now visit the link above and start properly.

Sorry for the glitch, it's one of a few places that will let you get Pokémon without having a card. I'm slowly tracking down the remaining pages over time and fixing them so when I get a chance I'll fix Professor Elm's Abandoned Eggs and close up one more loose end

aside from my box being empty, nothing has changed. Is there a way that this user name can be changed so I can register again and still use the same name it if this account can't be deleted?

Well, the big, noticable breeder cards caught my attention too and pirked curriosity. Cudos to whoever decided on the design for them.
