Hmmmmm.... today is the ship for isle three, but I'm about 150 short of being able to use it to evolve tangela. Hmmm.... could go on a refresh raid trying to get a stronger bug for the contest and hope I get the 150 that way or I can just use what I have at the shop to get an item to evolve gligar or sneasel.... Do they have to be traded holding the item or do they just have to hold it?

EDIT: Just added miltank, carnivine and sunkern to my list of breedables. :3

The items must be bought and held by the pokemon, then you just need to go to sevii three and pay another 2,000 money to have the lady evolve it. No trading needed.

Now that you mentioned items... I still haven't bought anything from shop... I'm not sure how to use them, will they have any purpose on my pokemons.

The two hold items there, the Razor Fang and Razor Claw, can be used to evolve Gligar and Sneasel respectively when taken to sevii island three. There's a charge for this service

Well there's 3 methods to getting a shiny.

I know an admin didnt set it for you, so it's not that

I don't see the shiny making item attached to your pichu, so it wasn't that way

Only other way is that you hatched it shiny. Any egg you've bred to get has the chance of being shiny, there are ways to improve the chance of it being shiny but they aren't needed for it to occur

Congrats, but I will just say your not the first person to get a shiny through 'normal' means

Wish the Pichu image changed colour a bit more so that people know that it's shiny, because it looks really normal

I would have never had known unless the shiny Egg image didnt work and I checked the url to the image.

Wait, so it tried to display a shiny egg image when it was still an egg?

Hmm... I wonder if that's intentional (as in the egg is supposed to look different) or not (in which case it's trying to call the egg image from the shiny folder and failing because there is no shiny egg image, didnt seem any point adding it to the shiny folder)

I don't know which it is, but it was trying to get 'Egg.png' from shiny folder and there was nothing there...

Firefang like pikachu... firefang want shiny pikachu (or pichu, i forget which)... anyway, the fact that you have one will have irritated firefang somewhat.

need to talk to roy about the shiny egg - whether its suppose to be different or if i just need to upload the egg image into the shiny folder...
