You CAN trade at the train station for other elemental stones, but the primary location of leaf, water, fire and thunder stones are via using the advance kit on sevii 1

you are right in that sun stones are mined with the intermediate kit - there was a slight bug in that they werent available until the advance kit dispite the description saying the intermediate sould mine them... this was fixed in the last update

well idk. I know that in a couple days will have all the fossil pokemon from gens 1-4 recorded as caught in my dex. As soon as my Pichu evolves i plan to put Gliscor in my party for a day so people can record it as seen. I'm still on the hunt for a female Omanyte and a Female Anorith but i might get a female anorith from my claw fossil egg so i'm not trying to set up trades for anorith yet just incase.

there are probably some people that registered just to play AA but don't use the forums to try to get other pokemon or find people to click on their pokemon.

i've seen a few people on doing nothing but play the AA - Etria seems like one of those people... and a lucky one too, not only has Etria got a horsea which nobody else has found, but also has the first natural shiny that wasnt made either during testing or by winning a forum competition...

Also, site traffic wise, some of those will be for my black and white guides on the main site!!!

I'm trying to decide what to do with my extra kabutos. I could use em to set up open trades for females I don't have yet, like seel, but I don't wanna put out so many kabutos that they become overly common, and it'd be a shame to abandon them.

correct. Thunder, Leaf, Fire, Water, and Sun Stone are with the Advanced Kit which Trading with Roark is needed for (as WKWC us who can mine fossils did while there was a bug with it.) and the Gold Mining Kit which is gained from having 5 Thunder, Fire, Leaf, and Water Stones in your inventory and going to the Archeological Research Institute while you have the Advanced Mining Kit.

No, you can get sun stones with intermediate. And one of the elemental stones you don't mine but trade for with someone at the train station.

And Sage, I have an overload of kabuto's atm in my efforts to get a shiny green one. I can trade you one if you'd like. That's pretty much the only fossil pokemon I have that I can breed.

I'd really appreciate it ;w; I'm afraid I don't know what I could breed for you in return that you probably don't already have...
