silly people. 2012 is gonna happen. What else will come after 2011 and before 2013?
As to if the world will end during 2012: no. Even if we were to all die during 2012, odds are EXTREMELY good that the planet will still be here, therefore the world wont end. This all ties to a little thing called semantics in language. Always a good idea to use specific terms that clearly define and express what you mean and what you're talking about so that there is no room for alternative interpretation.

however i have seen some funny like pages that go around the lines of "the world can't end in 2012 cause my card expires in 2014" something like that!

2012 is not going to happen. Some scientist make a mistake and the movie was just for entertainment, they said in the year 2000 that the world would end, but did it? No... if I'm wrong you can annoying me as much as you want in hell but I'm pretty sure it won't happen.
