I think the egg is a Jirachi because Jirachi came from a comet and the egg came from a comet fragment.
Though my second guess would be Deoxys since it came from a meteor.

I'm short 1 red shard from having all 5. lol I haven't found any blue ones strangely enough. lol

i just clicked around the different stuff in explore to find the ones i found. i can't find that last red one though and i've pretty much clicked everything. lol I'm kinda sad that my egg still hasn't hatched though. lol

you'll eventually find the shards. it took me a while to find the ones i have. lol

Do they appear the same way you get random events or do you have to look for something different to click on?

There is an order to their locations, so you must get one at x location before the one at y location will appear for example (though red/blue shards operate independently) but none of the shard pieces are due to random events or chance, all have pre-defined locations.

I'm going to assume you have to get the flame orb first. been to every spot in the adoption agency and nothin. Gonna look through again just in case.
