I don't know why this is happening, I barely changed anything to add that new feature. Unfortunately since I'm at uni I have precious little free time. I found some to make that update, don't have much more time for anything but drastic bugs. It doesn't appear to muck up the Pokédex so is mostly cosmetic in nature and so rather than take the entire feature down I think I'll just leave it as a bug to fix next update, unless it is shown to be more serious than it appears.
Small bug with the random interaction. Each pokemon you use that to interact with comes with the message that your pokedex recorded the pokemon as caught. Very similar to what happened when you evolved another person's pokemon and it said you recorded it as caught.

That's happened to me before but it doesn't add the other person's Pokemon to your Pokedex....
