I already have a Wailmer so how can it be a promo?

because a) some promo's arent exclusive to being promo's and b) we are currently on week 60(something) of 52 promos, which means they are repeating which means that yeah, it can still be a promo

I thought there was talk of the 52 promos being changed during the update just gone? I guess it never happened, but it will be nice to maybe obtain things that were promos before I started AA.

There was some plans to add new promos after the update went live, unfortunatly time ran out and it never happened. It's good to have a repeat of the trainer images and cards for those who weren't around originally, but you may find a lot of the promo pokemon ended up being obtained by people even after it was a promo

you need to complete the monochrome master achievment to gain the ability to make Gen 2 pokemon
