General questions
Why should I grow berries?

Berries are extremely handy items to have. Rarer berries can have effects on your Pokémon when eaten or held like increasing experience gained or increasing happiness and some have even been rumoured to help your Pokémon become shiny! Berries are expendable so it might be worth your while to plant it and grow more if you're low on stock rather than using them up.

Growing questions
What do I need to grow berries?

To grow a berry you will need either a fully grown berry or a Berry Seed to plant. You will also need a Wailmer Pail to water them which is provided by Kurt. Growth Mulch is optional as it is not required for the plant to grow but it will help increase the berry yield you get come harvest time.
How often should I water berries?

Watering berries is a delicate procedure. If you water a plant too often you will drown it and kill it but the plant will also shrivel up and die if you don't water it often enough. Exactly what these lengths of times are depend on the berry you are planting - common berries are hardy, won't drown easily and won't require much watering. Rarer berries however are much more delicate so more care will need to be taken. Rumour has it that there are items that can help you in figuring out the right growth times...
How long do berries take to grow?

Again this depends on the type of berry. Common berries will grow quicker than rarer berries. No matter what type of berry it is, it goes through 5 different stages, each one looking different to the last.

Seed - A freshly planted seed. This is the first growth stage.
Sprout
Sapling
Flower
Harvest - The last stage of growth. Berries can be harvested at this stage!

Blending questions
What is blending?

You can make a Berry Smoothie by combining 3 unique berries. Unique means they cannot be the same type of berry - each one must be different. Blending berries can be handy as it can make use of berries with no alternate effect.
