Evolving Time-traveled Eevee

Can it be done? I wanted a Vaporeon, but it wouldn't let me use the Water Stone I got on her.

yes, it can be done - the problem is that due to the way evolution stones currently work - you'll only have 1 eevee showing to evolve. Once this eevee is out of the way (in the ranch, in a trade, in the breeding center, released or evolved) the next eevee is selected to be shown for the stone.

Eventually, you'll get to the eevee you ACTUALLY want to evolve.

We are looking into changing the system in a future update to show all elegible pokemon

I was going to post in chat but since we are on the subject of time travelling I have a silly question, is it random which gen 1 or 2 your egg gets turned into when you use the time machine, or do you have to put it through twice to get gen 1?

(I am living in fear of being laughed at for this post by the way )

took me a moment to realise what you meant.

Bill only makes gen 5 (default) eggs into Gen 1... there is another method to getting Gen 2 eggs, and it requires an achievement before you can make them

I'd definatly more happy if you ask any questions you have, no matter how small or silly - everybody has to learn everything and anything at somepoint in thier lives, just because the answer is obvious to some does not always mean it is to others, so always feel free to ask.
