It's all good, I want to make sure I got 3 or 4 of everything to trade, then make sure I got one of each to evolve, and then I can start breeding decent stuff for my shop and having some mass sales.

But I see pokemaster beat me to that, I had the exact same idea as him a few days back to make a thread advertising a sale of the day or week depending on how many poke I could breed.

All part of my evil plan to undermine people asking £10,000 a poke in their shops "muhahahaha"

And I can't believe I missed Mordechams starter for starter trade first time round, it kinda got lost in the 'outrageous' trades.

Oh, no worries there. Your timing was actually pretty good. I ended up reading your post about doing some starter-for-starter trades, thought "Really? I didn't get any trade notification...", and then refreshed the page and was told the trade went through.

Ooh nice job Shizo, my next target after plenty of trade and shop stock is an army of pikachus (I've got 470 of them on Virtuadopt and it's broke me getting those at trades of 10 pokes for 1 pikachu)

Can I assume it's impossible to get a gen 1 pikachu since we wouldn't be able to time travel a pichu egg?

I haven't specifically tried time-traveling a Pichu egg...but it seems like it should just turn into a Gen I Pikachu egg. After all, isn't that one of the first Trainer Union missions?

Hmm, yeah, we did have to time travel a pichu didn't we.

Yet pichus ID is 172 so we should only be able to time travel up to 151 or less.

the trainer union mission was a special generation one pikachu egg , it had nothing to do with timetaveling a pichu egg to gen I - which is impossible by the way

Maybe i'll give away a Gen I Pikachu as a pirze to a forum competition in the future - if people give me some more ideas in the suggestion thread for what those competions could be

Maybe it would be a good idea, in some update or another, to make an exception for the baby Pokemon that have to be babies. Gen II Pokemon might not be able to become Gen I under normal circumstances, but maybe if it's a Pichu egg it could become a Gen I Pikachu egg instead. The same could work for Cleffa, Igglybuff, Magby, Elekid, Smoochum, and anyone else I may have forgotten.

Of course, a baby like Tyrogue could throw a wrench in things...but maybe a Tyrogue egg sent back to Gen I could just have a 50/50 chance, becoming either a Hitmonlee egg or a Hitmonchan egg, at random.

Then again, with the recent call for sprite artists, maybe some future update could include "Gen I" sprites for later generations (or Gen II, or Gen III, or whathaveyou). I wonder what a Gen I Jirachi would look like....
