im fishing... and then i realize its monday... and i can still fish even though a boat is in the harbour

I just gave it a shot and can confirm: If you have the url, you can fish whether or not there is a boat in the harbor.

I'm pretty sure that althjough you can fish you won't actually catch anything, I tested it for an hour and got nothing a few days back.

Although something has changed becasue you used to get a message "you canot fish while there is a boat in the harbour" or similar.

I tried a few more rounds, and caught a Staryu maybe ten or twelve attempts in, so you definitely can catch something this way.

Is it maybe because of the fisherman at the train station? They're really biting today, so there's a way to get at them despite the boat?

Edit: By the way, if I'm not supposed to keep something caught that way, it's the male Staryu in my default box named Boat Catch. Just in case.

ive actually caught a lot and now i feel bad that i probably abused a bug...

Obviously the codes messed up fairly recently, if it's messed up and no longer tells you "you may not fish while a boat is docked", the same problem might occur with the faraway cave message "you cannot mine while someone is in the cave".

Edit: Just tested Cave is fine, it has the correct message "You cannot mine while there are people in the cave! Try coming back another day."
