Meditation Island
Twice now I've left my Shelgon there 1 extra hour (25th hour) and was told I left him in there for over 36 hours. This time however it said Shelgon lost a level.
One hour too late makes me lose a level now?

Re: Meditation Island
Where exactly does it say lost a level and what exactly is the wording used? I just checked the Meditation Island script but a search for "lost a level" brings up nothing.

Re: Meditation Island
What your PROBABLY seeing is that since you didn't take out the pokemon in time, you lost the level you were GOING to gain. See in that time that it is there, it gains a level. If you wait to long, it loses that level.
Though I don't know why it would do that after only 25 hours...

Re: Meditation Island
Yeah, during that first 24 hours it does actually gain the level, then after the 36, it has to lose that level. Heres the exact text anyways.
Again, not sure why it did that after 25 hours though, mine was fine this morning being taken out around the 34 hour point. I need another 12 hours to see whether the next one is alright.Hello, Sally_Ann. This is Meditation Island, where Pokémon can train without the distraction of human trainers around. We Medicham use our special psychic powers to help intensify the training, which guarantees any Pokémon that trains with us will gain 1 level after a 24 hour training period. However, you must be punctual with picking your Pokémon up as our psychic powers cannot be sustained. If you leave your Pokémon with us for 36 hours or more, it will lose the level gained by training.
To summarise, if you leave a Pokémon with us for 24 hours, it will be guaranteed to grow 1 level. If you leave the Pokémon with us for 36 hours or more, it will not gain a level.

Re: Meditation Island
I was on my ds so i could not get a screencap, I'm not worried about the level losing since my Shelgon didn't actually lose the level.
I'm worried about the fact I was one hour late and I it said I lost one level. I've only had that problem with my Shelgon. I've left my Cyndaquil and Combusken in there after 24 hours before and had no problems.

Re: Meditation Island
This just happened to me - I was exactly 45 minutes later than the 24 hour mark and it claimed I'd had it in more than 36 hours. I've not had a problem with a few minutes later recently, not have I had a problem with a couple of hours previously. I wonder if it has something to do with a window around the 24 hour mark, or if beside the day changed between my 24 hour mark and me removing my Pokemon, something went wrong there.

Re: Meditation Island
I just had this issue again. You're only supposed to lose the level if you wait over 36 hours right? This time it was well after the 24 hour mark.
Spoiler: show

your proof picture would have been better with the server time displayed instead of your clock...

Re: Meditation Island
It's late so maybe I'm miscalculating this but wouldn't 11:42pm fall outside of window of opportunity between 24-36 hours? 11:42pm the night you submitted it would have been under 24 hours and 11:42pm the next day would have been over 36 hours.Guardian Shizo wrote:I apologize, It was 11:42pm server time. Re: Meditation Island
Ok time to put my math to the test here...7:04am on the 28th is when the pokemon was submitted. It was taken out at 11:42pm on the 29th. 24 hours from 7:04 am is 7:04 am...about 4 and a half hours after that would be around the 11:42pm marker that you took the pokemon out. That would be 28.5 hours if I'm doing my math correctly...

Re: Meditation Island
your not... there's 12 hours between am and pm... so your number is 12 hours short
i beleive that's what Gardian Shizo meant when 'brainfart moment' was mentioned...

Re: Meditation Island
So...is there a bug related to this or are people just getting mixed up about how long they've left them in for?

Re: Meditation Island
There is definaty a bug somewhere. I had my meditation island timed with my ranch but due to circumstances beyond my control I missed my 24 hour mark by 45 minutes. It claimed I was over the 36 hour mark. Unfortunatly I don't have proof, nor have I been able to replicate the bug
