The gender is refering to your pokemon I'm guessing...since under it also has the nickname.

i believe (because i've seen the actual form) that its what your asking for, both gender, nickname as well as generation and shiny...

WK_WC is correct. That is the submission form when submitting a new trade. You are now able to specify whatever attributes you want the Pokémon to have. In the case of the screenshot, it means I want a Caterpie of level 26 or higher that is male, not shiny, gen IV and with the nickname 'Billybob'. You are now able to offer a bounty, which is a cash reward given to whoever fulfills your trade which opens up trade negotiations a bit.

What about the gender of the pokemon you are giving?

considering you pick the pokemon that you have, you'd know what gender it is when you select it - why would you need to pick that on the form?

well looking at the screenshot again then Pikachu3828's reply, the screenshot has Yes next to Shiny. So what i get is that he was asking for a Shiny Caterpie that is lv 26 or Higher that was Male Generation IV and named Billybob.

On the topic of that will we be able to the see the gender of the Pokémon offered when we look at trade offers created by other people like we have now?

I was thinking to myself the last few day, what if I bred a shiney pokemon and wanted a different shiny pokemon for it how I would stop a normal pokemon being offered.

Virtuadopt is easy becasue you put up your trade, type in the text you need or something like "best offer including legendary bird" and then loads of people offer and you can see all offers listed below, then it's up to you to accept which offer you like. There was no way to do this here because it's kinda "automatically accept first trade offered"

With the new trade form you can really narrow down your options, really great job!
