Green Shard
A green shard appeared in my bag and I can't remember where I found it. I believe I was near the weather Institute at the time. I have neither Kyogre or Groudon, but before I found the green shard; It was a bit after I first tried to enter the Cave of Origins.

green shards are seperate from Red and Blue and you can find them at any time and in any order.
