used wrong pokemon ~no way to complete quest? :c
I by accident gave away my quest pichu to train station but I didn't want to, and now I don't know how to complete my trainer quest. Is it possible to complete the quest if I ever get a new pichu egg? or is it impossible to complete it now because you can only use the pichu egg given by the Gold trainer? Or is there any way to restart quest?

Re: Messed up quest~any way to complete? :c
Also the Blue's Shiny Quest doesn't seem to be working for me....unless I'm doing the quest wrong...I showed him three shinys and nothing seemed to register.. other than egg exhange but it wasn't registering as quest complete...

There's no way for you to fix this unfortunately. Let me know when you get another Pichu and I'll mark it as a quest Pichu so you can complete the mission. If you don't have easy access to one let me know and I'll give you one.Ashimashi wrote:I by accident gave away my quest pichu to train station but I didn't want to, and now I don't know how to complete my trainer quest. This is a separate bug so in future please create a separate topic for it. In any case this is the first time I have heard of this problem. Are the Pokemon you're showing him eggs? He won't accept eggs.Ashimashi wrote:Also the Blue's Shiny Quest doesn't seem to be working for me....unless I'm doing the quest wrong...I showed him three shinys and nothing seemed to register.. other than egg exhange but it wasn't registering as quest complete...

Okay, I'll try to find a pichu and let you know when I have one. thanks~
edit: I saw a pichu for sale in shops... I bought it, it won't be the same generation but could I still use it for the quest?
I showed Blue three pokemon that had hatched from eggs, but they were already shiny. They weren't eggs when I showed him.
He rewarded a Gen V egg each time, but it never completed the quest when I looked at my log.
I'll remember to post topics separately next time. Sorry about that.

just give us the id of the pichu and we'll make it compatible.
it sounds like you traded those shiney pokemon with blue? is that correct? also, how did you make them shiney in the first place?

Pichu ID: 106860
Thank you~
Yes, I traded three shiny with Blue. I made them gen I at Bill's House through time pass as eggs. I'm not sure if that's why they didn't work. I thought it would be okay, unless you're suppose to find one already a shiny and then show Blue... then I did it wrong.
Thank you~

gen 1 pokemon are not shiney pokemon. further, gen 1 pokmeon cannot BE shiney pokemon - therefore you havent had a shiney pokemon to show to blue in the first place.

But they popped up as shiny, that's why it was confusing... Then I don't understand why Blue accepted them, unless it was just as a trade for the collection, or a glitch...any way it makes sense that it didn't accept quest as finished.

What do you mean Bill didn't accept them? You don't need to give him a shiny Pokémon to complete the quest.Ashimashi wrote:But they popped up as shiny, that's why it was confusing... Re: used wrong pokemon ~no way to complete quest? :c
The quest is what's a shiny, so I thought you were suppose to show Blue a shiny to complete quest, but I was mistaking gen I as shiny, and instead kept clicking them, in which I received gen V eggs in return. Because they were never shiny to begin with, the quest didn't register as complete. So I guess it's my fault, I wasn't registering that they were not shiny pokemon to begin with.
I did have one shiny but it didn't work because I realized it was already traded... sorry for the trouble.
nvm
