I've currently bred two different Gen III females, and all of the eggs I received were Gen V.
One of the females was the special Gen III Pikachu I have, but that one was more or less a test to see if it could breed now. My other female is a Gen III Mudkip.
Just curious as to whether or not this was intentional.

Re: Gen III Breeding?
This was not intentional, I'll fix this shortly. Still getting my PC back up and running following my motherboard failure but it's nearly all done

Not 100% sure if it was fixed, but I recall we had a similar issue with Gen II only bredding Gen V eggs a while back. As I said, I don't recall if that one was fixed or not

Re: Gen III Breeding?
Fixed. Two parent Pokémon of the same generation will now produce an egg of that generation. If the Pokémon produce an egg for a Pokémon that didn't exist in that generation (say 2 gen II Snorlax make a Munchlax egg) the egg will automatically become gen V.
