It's completely random when you get it but you won't get one for at least two hours after your last one.

Yes, you can get the Link Bonus multiple times in a day. Same with the lyric master bonus except that has no cooldown at all so if you were incredibly lucky you could get it back to back.

Have you altered the Lyric Master code as part of 2.2? Because I seem to be getting it all over the place lately, when prior to 2.2 I'd gotten it all of twice. Total.

(Not that I'm complaining, of course.)

I don't remember altering the values but I've been seeing them a lot more too. Bumped up the rarity of it a bit, it's supposed to be a fairly rare thing to get

Still via mining - but now which axe you use and where you use it can affect what you pick up, that's both stones and fossils

My usual advise which nobody seems to bother with is just to focus on all the other quests and achievments you can complete, you will come across it by doing one of those
