Kyogre the uber pokemon........

Post by Powerchu »

Well I thought that we could all just search for movesets for it and then find ways to counter them.

the only moveset that I have heard tons about is:

Calm Mind
Thunder
Surf/Water Spout
Psychic

My idea for countering: Parasect! Good Grass moves and Kyogre can't win no matter how high it's specials are raised. Use a stat ailment attack, growth to raise special attack, giga drain for some recovery and damage, and find a recovery move it can learn.

Kyogyre will KILL Parasect with Psychic. If not, ice beam. Before Parasect kills it. There are not much grass moves, Giga drain is the best Parasect can learn. -_- Unless you count in that horrible move Solar beam. XD

Kyogyre will KILL Parasect with Psychic.
umm Parasect is a Bug/Grass pokemon so Psychic type attacks aren't very effective on it. but at max sp.attack kyogre could kill parasect but it would take at least 2 turns.

oh whoops. But still, Kyogyre can kill Parasect before it kills it. Parasect doesnt have the best Sp. Atk or moves. Cant learn good grass moves like needle arm of leaf blade.

I can't fully remember, so I may be wrong, and if so, please say so, but I didn't think water moves were super effective against bug types?

In any case, imagine how long it'd take to wear down a Kyogre with it's incredibly high HP and defences with a Shedinja

Bug is weak to Rock, Fire, and uh... Flying. Water isn't a weakness that Shedinja has.
