What was your first anime?

My first anime were Pokémon (when I was 11), Digimon (when I was 12) and the Unicron trilogy of Transformers (when I was 15), but that was before I even knew what anime was.

My first anime (when I actually knew what it was) was Bleach in 2006 (I was 18 back then). My friend in high school got me into it... I watched until episode 17, but stopped for a while since I thought it was boring and moved slowly. That was when I discovered Digimon Savers right as it was being aired and fansubbed for the first time... and I got hooked. XD That same year I also watched Transformers Galaxy Force in Japanese.

...It was around two years later (in 2008) that I started to get into voice actors, and was surprised to find out my top-second favorite voice actor Daisuke Hirakawa had been in the latter series. XD

Likely pokemon or dragon ball z via cheez tv when I was 2 or 3.
