Are wild Pokémon locations autochthonous?
Hey, I was just thinking the other day and wanted to get some views on this, do you think in the games the wild Pokémon's locations are autochthonous? I guess the Gameboy games must be, most of them make sense, like Delibird and Jynx in Ice Cavern (in G/S anyway) and such, but what would bird Pokémon like Lugia be doing in a cave? I highly doubt it was born there.
But where do you think other Pokémon like Tyrouge, Castform and Beldum, which are given to you, originate from? It's confusing.

As a matter of fact, the loactions and the milieu where some pokemon can be found are pretty unlogical. Now any of the "misplaced" pokemon come to my mind, but it has annoyed me from the first days i played pokemon...
Yeah, well anyway. I think that tyrogue is born whereever all their Hitmonchan-, Hitmonlee-, and Hitmontop parents are born also. Probably in some man-made urban location like an abandoned dojo or a pokemon temple somwhere. I have always thought that all the hitmons have been like any other pokemon at first, but have been shaped like that through evolution, and that they are actually part human, part pokemon, and have much same genes as humans, just like gorillas and baboons have in our world.

I wasn't looking for one sentence responses. This is Serious Pokémon Discussion. If you're not willing to debate, don't post
