You shouldn't spam so much!!!! Anyway there is no way of knowing. The fire starter is the best attacker. The water starter has good defense. The grass starter has all the speed. That's all I know so far, but still there's no way of knowing. It just an opinion thing. If I were you, I'd just choose the one I like.

Yeah, starter opinion favors with many things... like, remember that Torchic and Mudkip gain a second type when they fully evolve.
And yes, don't SPAM so much. I should call someone to cast Holy Judgement

Yeah, the Holy Judgement. It's very scary, well not really but it may get harsh. But I agree with TaylorGS with the starter opinion.

How about we put our personal favorite and why? Think that may help 'DigitialGoddess'?

Personal favourites are the best way to go, even if you pick a water or grass starter it's easy to level them up and all. So stick to personal favourites and try next time to earn your posts in a more thoughtful, and less SPAM way.

Yes... personal favorites... Like I like to choose fire types, but I had a hard time against Roxanne (first gym leader) cause of major type disadvantage.

Yes Torchic is hard to bare with. You should've trieed using Treecko! Now that was hard! But then I started a new game and got Torchic as my starter. Fire types are hard at the beginning, but easier at the end.

Very true! Only in Ruby/Saph, it's hardest since about every other early grass/water can be KO'd as easily except for Shroomish...

I own Saphire so I know how hard it is. But in Saphire they boost the power of grass starters by 12% and lower the power of fire starters by 12%. In Ruby they boost fire starter power by 12% and lower water power by 12% because of the differences between the two. In my Saphire I started with Torchic and it was hard at first until I got Wingull, trained it up and made it a Pelipper so it could be a team mate for Blaziken.

I pick Treecko. It's second evolution is cute and it is a pretty strong grass type. And I don't really like the fact that you have an adorable Torchic and it evolves into a tough fighting Pokemon like Blaziken. It just doesn't seem to really match if you get what I mean. And Mudkip is just, bleh. No interest.

But then again, it's your opinion. Whatever pokemon you want, you want.
