Came in the only fossil pack I ever bought
I like Venusaur EX with Pollen Hazard (Poison/Burn/Confusion). It can deal 20 damage between turns and a chance to fail your opponent's move and do another 20 damage...along with the 20 damage you already done. Then, after a few Energy Trans, you can kill with 90 damage Solar Beam. 90 damage is enough for any attack which doesn't have a downfall. With Energy Trans, this is made a lot easier.

There's too many good cards... I can narrow it down to... three. sorry, but I have reasons. I'll name them...
Sneasel (From the first Neo set) Was a killer card that gave form to my favoritest deck
Dark Scizor (Neo Destiny set I think) Someone I miss alot traded this card to me. Uh... neeext.
Shining Mewtwo (I think Neo Destiny also) The last day at the Pokémon League I went to, the gym leaders there gave me that card as a little award for 'improved battler' or something. There was a small torney for fun, which I didn't win, but beat one of the two leaders in a card battle.

Ha ha ha, cool combo, that's sure to drive any trainer crazy
I don't actually play the TCG myself so forgive me if I'm wrong, but can you mix cards from different sets? Alakazam could easily be countered by something like a Houndoom from the Neo Discovery set. Alakazam has a weakness....hmm, scratch this idea actually, Alakazam doesn't have a weakness to dark because it wasn't around then, or does it now ?

You're right, all of the Alakazams that have been released all have Weakness to Psychic.TaylorGS wrote:The Alakazam from the Base Set that's being reffered to has weakness to psychic type... In fact, I think all Alakazam cards do.
Depends on which format you play. If you're playing Unlimited, then yes, you can play with any cards released. In Modified, you can only use cards from a certain set onward (currently R/S-Emerald).TaylorGS wrote:And I'm quite sure you can mix cards from different sets. Isn't it like that in all card games?
