Digimon

Post by Pikachu3828 »

I was flicking across the channels today on TV and I stumbled across Digimon: The Movie. I actually sat down and watched it. I'm not a Digmon fan and never have been, but the movie was actually OK, it was pretty funny, funnier than the 1st Pokémon movie. Maybe someone more knowledgable about Digmon can fill me in on a few things. When Digimon digivolve it seems they can do it multiple times into different forms, and that the evolutions aren't always permanent? Also, do Digimon only have one attack or something? How does it work in the Digimon games?

And lastly, what do people think of Digimon? Pokémon and Digimon are pretty similar, but miles apart in terms of popularity. Why do you think this is?

Heh, lots of questions there :-P Maybe we can get some good discussion going

I watched digimon alot when it was on public televivion and i know alot about it to so when a digimon digivolves(evolves) the form depends on how many times it happens when a digimon starts in baby mode when it hatches and digivolves to rookie permanitly then it digivolves to champion and goes back when it is done fighting, if they digivolve in champion they go to ultimate level but this only happens if they use a digicrest and only few digimon digivolve to mega. some digimon D.N.A digivolve which is when 2 digidestened(the kids) get a strong bond and their're digimon digivolve into one and when it ends they go to baby level but only Tai and Matt's digimon Agumon and Gabumon can warpdigivolve which they bypass all levels and go to mega or higher

I used to watch Digimon, but now my TV doesn't get it anymore. At least I saw all up to... the ending of the season with the first and second group of DigiDestened. I don't remember that much of Digimon. Sorry. ^^;

I only got to see random parts of digimon. Since I didn't see alot, I never really liked it. I don't know any of the digimon's names, but I liked the orange dinosaur who shot the fireballs lol

I never liked Digimon.
Digimon is awful compared to Pokémon.

I seen the Trailer for the Digi movie and the animation looked like someone had sat on the film.

As with the animation in Pokémon you have a richer colour, shades, tones. Plus it's more entertaining than Digimon.

Oh, you mean Agumon?

I never watched the show much, but I did once see a very badly done Digimon manga series. Now that's something I'll never forget...and not in a good way, either... :?

PS. Sorry if I've just revived an obsolete topic; I haven't been on in months, and didn't look at the topic date before I posted. How very negligent of me. :-P

It's entirely fine, there is no rule against such a thing on these forums.

Well when they digivolve into one form they can go to another only if they are strong enough. These are the stages

"Baby"(forgot really called)---Rookie----Champion----Ultimate-----Mega
Mega is the highest unless that digivolution barrier was broken ^_^ . Its not Permanent it depends on how long they can last wasting so much power on Digivolving the stronger you are the longer your power last unless youve been hurt in battle then your back to Rookie ! They have more than one attack it seems as though if they only have one but they got more . Nova Blast an attack of Greymon Pepper Breath his rookie form SkullGreymon scares the crap out of me >_< Digimon games....they pretty much SUCK after a while i have Digimon Battle Spirit 2 If they didnt cancel the show right now the new season would be on because their is a new digivolution i didnt metion Muahahahahaha! You can fuse to champions which is called DNA Fursion .then you can evolve from there sorry i forgot to metion it ! But this New one is call Ancient ! Ancient is so cool but in the new season the kids from the 3rd season come i think and learn to do anceint form .

Yes i know im a digifan but if you asked these questions to my friend he would curse at you because he IS A MAJOR digimon fan and he is making a petition to get DIgimon Back

Last question........Simple People suck lol
