The Most Useful Pokemon? <-- A Game =D

Post by Feralyn »

This is sort of like a game. I post either a Type (Electric, Dark, etc.) or a purpose (Defence Wall, Special Sweeper, etc.) and you must tell the pokemon that would be most usefull in you opinion for useing. There are a few rules:

1. No legendary's
2. No starters + Evolves
3. Please try to post Natures, EVs (Where EVs would generaly be distributed among) and Held items
4. No spam obviously <.<
5. And you MUST post why. Don't just say "I think breloom would be good" Post movesets and etc.

This is mainly to help people with decideing what to use on their team. You may also critisize somebody's posted moveset/EVs/natures, and say what would be better. If somebody posts a pokemon + moveset and you have comments on to improve the moveset, post them basicly.

I will change the type/purpose every few days or once a week or so. Anyway here we go!

The first one is, what do you think would be a good Water type pokemon to use as either a Sp.Def Wall, or Def Wall?

Here is mine:

Pokemon: Tentacruel
Abillity: Clear Body
Nature: Calm or Bold
Item: Leftovers (No other idea xD)
EVs: Generaly around Sp.Def and Def
Moves:
Barrier-Learned
Mirror Coat-Breeding
Toxic-TM
Ice Beam-TM

Barrier to raise defence, and Mirror Coat to fend off special attackers, how evil >=) Toxic always helps, and Ice Beam for attacking, dont know what else to do...

Milotic!

Poke: Milotic
Ability: Marvel Scale
Nature: Calm? (or whatever minus' atk +sp.def...)
Item: Lefties
EVs: 252 sp.def 252 hp
Moves:
Mirror coat <------ PWND
Recover <---- a lot of PP and recovers nice
Toxic <----- DiE kyOGre
Ice beam/Surf <------ Just some filler attack

K, i know it isnt rlly a wall, but it can last forever against special sweepers. And i look at this... All the opponent has to do is switch to groudon or something and totally own this. :P Well theres mine anyway...

Powerchu, Electrode is obviously a Electric type, and as far as I know.. not a wall... Judgeing by your moves, natures, and EV distribution choices, I'd say thats a lot more like a Special Sweeper, not a wall, definatly not a wall... Please stick to the theme and feel free to post again with a pokemn that sticks the the current theme <.<

Kibrypika, Hmm Milotic *goes to Serebii and jaw draps at special defence stat* Wow, Milotic is a lot better than I thought! Thats definatly an effective Sp.Def Wall! Hmm I'm actualy possibly thinking of modifying my team and kicking my tentacruel out and replacing it with Milotic actually. Then again, Feebass is a pain to catch + evolve and you'd have to breed to get Mirror Coat me thinks... Eh, maybe still keep Tentacruel.. for now =D

In a day or so I'll probly change the theme...

I Really suck at this:
Jolteon @ Magnet
Ability: Volt Absorb

Charge : Doubles the attack power of an eletric attack.
Thunder: Above...
Nature: Naughty
EV: Attack or Sep. Att
Attacks:
Rain Dance - Filler move
Thunder - Dunno
Toxic ?
Dig ?
I really don't know. I got that off from Serebii

Pikachu90000- I'm not good with Jolteon, but I would probly do something like this for the moves: Baton Pass, Agility, Thundershock, Thunderwave/Pin Missle

Kirbypika- I don't think I've ever used Magneton xD Anyway.. um, Lock On, Zap Cannon, Thunderwave, Substitute? No idea really...

TaylorGS- If your doing a Rain Dance/Thunder combo, then you dont need Thunder Bolt. Though as for moveset I have no idea whatsoever.. x.X

Here is mine... though not sure if it works

Ampharos @ Whatever, Lefties?
Ability: Static
Nature: Modest
EVs: Mostly to Special Attack and Speed, maybe a bit in HP
Moves:
Thunderwave - Learned
Thunderbolt - Learned
Fire Punch - Move Tutor (Emerald I think)
Substitute/Another good move - Move Tutor/???

I'm not sure that works at all but feh...

Ghost Type Whatever!

Have fun =)

Eh i dont like lock on zap cannon cuz Maggy is better with bolt. Very high sp.atk shouldnt be wasted on 2 turn moves! :D Oh and Maggy is the best electric pkmn thats not ledgendary btw. (Sp.atk = to alakazam's):D

I have Thunderbolt with Manectric's moveset because I don't like having to rely on Rain Dance/Thunder all the time... And I couldn't think of anything else to put in there. I like a Pokémon, but only know half the attacks I'd want it to know... --;
