No matter how many versions they release of the Pokemon, does red/blue still keep it's appeal? I've played lots of the later versions, but red/blue still seems to clean up most the time... maybe it's cause that was the first set I had played? Who knows... anybody else think the same?

I can empathise with you, I think there is a certain feeling of nostalgia associated with Pokémon Red/Blue that the others cannot touch. Also, everything was much more fun because it was new. My first ever battle, catching my first ever Pokémon...all very cool.
