Mystery Gift has been found to be present in FR/LG and I present to you all a screenshot of it:

You can only get it by inputting a long AR code (Version 3+) currently, as no-one know's how to get it officially, presumably from a Nintendo event

Ok, it's been found out how to activate Mystery Gift without using a cheating device.

At any time during the game, go in to a PokÃƒÂ©Mart and check the note on the desk. This will bring up a four word entry screen. Enter the phrase "Link Together With All." When finished, the cashier will mention that the Mystery Gift option will be available from the main menu after you save your game and toggle system power.

WHen I tried Mystery Event with my cousin with our wirless adapters it didn't work. I used FR and he used LG.

Dang, found out for myself a few weeks back when I attempted to use Mystery Gift with a friend. We left them to connect to each other as they said they were trying to find a communication tower or something or other. Good thing we decided to look it up on GameFAQs while we waited or we would have wasted a lot of time

That means it is a computer generated person. Like the battles on the Pokemon games (not with GBA Link Cable/Wireless Adapter).

If you have a friend that has been and done the Mystery Gift officially, yes. Otherwise no.
