help with eevee
Can you help me check a couple of things? First, I suspect that Eevee forms of Umbreon and Espeon are a random friendship evolution, because I had an Eevee sent into Sapphire, then trained it up. It was about 11pm in the game and the Eevee tried to evolve into Espeon. I stopped it and tried again, with the same results. The next day, I trained it another level to get someone an Espeon, and it evolved into Umbreon at about 10-11 am. Can anyone give me a good explantion for this if it is not random? Also, I want opinions on this Umbreon moveset: Confuse Ray, Toxic, Screech, Shadow Ball, and holding the leftovers.

I dont really know, but if your eevee was not REALLY REALLY REALLY happy in the FR/LG game when you sent it to saphire, that may have caused something and made the evolution whacky.
Thats just a theory. I never tried to evolve an eevee into umbreon/espion. All I know is that my LG stratagy guide said to move your eevee into R/S when it had max happiness, and it was the desired time in R/S, but i dont know if that would mater or not

I think it was a step back not to include a clock in Fire Red/Leaf Green. Granted the originals did not have a clock but before there was no Pokémon that required time to evolve and now there is, quite popular ones at that and so to stop people from being able to evolve them is a silly move.
