I love Xiaolin Showdown myself, I watch it as often as I can. I find it has a decent and interesting storyline with continuity between the episodes, some very good action scenes and a nice mix of comedy to go along with it.
Personally I think the show's been getting better and more interesting, but I do agree with Magi of All that Jack Spicer can be too whiny at times even for me. But it does add to his character. He has a huge ego and acts like this brilliant evil genius whereas he is actually just a pathetic boy who wants to conquer the world with the robots he builds.

Yeah, I think it's really funny how pathetic he acts. I can't see anything wrong with the show apart from that, and I can't see how someone can say all the shows by 4kids are rubbish.Pokedestiny wrote:Jack Spicer is REALLY whiny but that is one of the things that makes the show good. I like seeing the monks beat Jack snd his worthless robots.

Many people actually miss the potential that Jack has. They see Chase Young do backflips and turn into a dragon and there all like"WHOOO, CHASE ROCKS" Jack has shown many times inn the past that he is indeed competant, just under trained.Pikachu3828 wrote: Personally I think the show's been getting better and more interesting, but I do agree with Magi of All that Jack Spicer can be too whiny at times even for me. Also, does anyone else find it odd that children can destroy robots with just kicks. That has to be some inferior product

This is true, but all it is is just that. Potential. No-one is willing to train Jack. Wuya (or however it's spelt) just wants the Shen-Gong-Wu and is not interested in Jack himself as she has proven so many times before and neither has Chase Young got any interest in Jack. The Xialoin warriors thrive because they are trained well, but if no-one's going to train Jack his potential is just going to stay at that.Magi of all wrote:Many people actually miss the potential that Jack has. You'd be surprised at how powerful the human body can be when trained properly. They are Xialoin warriors, after all.Magi of all wrote:Also, does anyone else find it odd that children can destroy robots with just kicks. That has to be some inferior product
