I don't think professor oak can be ash father.For one,why would a old man and a young woman go out??Also,ash favor's in being the best trainer and had no sign of being a pokemon reasearcher like pro.oak and gary.Meh...I think in the end ash will finally meet up with his dad,not knowing it and will battle his father with a bazaar ending.I also think that giovanni probally captured ash father and at the end when ash defeats giovanni,he'll find his father.Either that or his father died or he was probally there when the towers of ho-oh fell and probally died or went on a journey to find ho-oh.As you can see,there's many possibilities to this conclusion.I guess we'll have to wait like everyone else.I recall a guy in the orange cup that looked kinda like ash.He had a dragonite as his man pokemon,and his dargonites pokeball was on his necklece.I really think that's his father.

i think ashs dad was a pokemon trainer and so he set himself too for pokemon quest from the time before ash was born.

I like eldershipping about I like the idea more of Ookaido and Uchikido being together Professorshipping.

And to who make the comment about Gary being as Ash's Brother. Gary is Professor Oak's grandson so if I was Oak's son Ash would be Gary's Uncle.

their are MANY MANY different thoughts about who is ash's dad but dont get to excited with this question becuse you might become bummed out if thay never ever tell who his dad is and you'd been waiting for nothing.

Yeah a lot of people thik Ookaido-Hasake (Professor Samuel Oak) is Satoshi (Ash Ketchum)'s father. The people I've been who think Ookaido-Hasake is Satoshi's father is because they something between Ookaido-Hasake and Hanako (Delia Ketchum). But I said it once I said it again I'm going with what the Pokémon Live people said about who satoshi's father is and that is Sakaki (Giovanni).

Note: The people who did Pokémon Live are with the pokemon tv sereies people.
