Hey,I just found something out!!The pokemon in the video games do say their name except there saying there japenese name not their english names!!!!!But it dosen't make sence beacause the rest of the game is in english.

Decide for yourself. "Romaji" is the how the Japanese name is pronounced so that is the one you'll wish to compare the cry to.
