The Pokemon TCG State Championships are coming up between March 4th and March 19th! The tournament is run using the Modified format. In case anyone doesn't know, only sets from Hidden Legends and newer are allowed at this event. Older cards are allowed only if they have been reprinted in Modified legal sets (eg. Potion, Switch, PokeBall, etc.) For a complete list of older cards that can be used in Modified tournaments, click here.
For North American locations and dates, click here. Players outside the US will not have State Championships.
I'll be entering the Virginia State Championships, but that's not until the 18th...
Edit: Forgot to add a link to the information page. Click here for details on the State Championships, prizes, etc.
3/6 edit- Added a link to the list of older cards that can be used in the State Championships.

That's pretty cool but not living in America I won't be going.
Hey, do you think you could take a camera, get some pictures, interview some people and just generally cover the event for The Pika Club? That'd be an awesome section to have on The Pika Club

I doubt that I can get pictures, interviews, etc. since I'll be playing. What I can do is provide a tournament report, which basically covers my matches, types of decks I played against, and that sort of stuff.Pikachu3828 wrote:That's pretty cool but not living in America I won't be going.

Sorry all, but I'm not posting a tournament report at this time. It's been over a week now, and I pretty much forgot what happened. I'll guarantee that the next tournament will have a report. (hopefully it will be a prerelease tournament!) Stay tuned!
