Pokémon Gone From Kids WB! Lineup

Post by Pikachu90000 »

Well this is bigger than the new voice actors, according to SPPF (Which got their source from Mediaweek, something I never even heard of), The new Kids WB! on The CW won't be aring Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Here is the Media Article:

Wow, that is sad. But, it says the ratings are dropping, so they are *almost* obligated to get rid of it (that is business for you). It sucks, but Cartoon Network has been playing both YGO and Pokemon, so it is not as though the shows are vanishing from television all together, ne?

I have to admit that the Legion of Superheroes cartoon looks pretty cool... >.>

I am also still bugged about the change of VA roster...

Well I guess 2006 is the worst year of Pokemon... They could air it on CN or some other cable channel like Nick (highly unlikely) or the other new network MNTV. Dam, if 4KIds haven't given up their license, it could have aired on 4KidsTV as they lack good animes right now... (Seriously, Sonic X sucks...)

I read an article on this last night claiming Pokémon USA taking control of the cartoon over 4Kids had a major role in this.

I guess all we can do now is sit back and see what happens. I still wish that they would keep the original VA roster, then just make the translations more accurate (since 4Kids doesn't seem to understand the importance of proper translation).

What did May ever do to you? *thinks Yellow-Chan vs May Fanboys* Anyways this show is NOT cancelled, I repeat, NOT CANCELLED! It's moving to another network, mostly likely CN.

Well i live in Mexico 8) and the show started in "XHGC CANAL 5" in open tv around 1997 - 8 i dont remebre exaclty and 1 month later or something like that started in Cartoon Network I have been a fan since then then it just disapeared in open tv but ramained in Cartoon Network since this year i watched the show from Kanto to half Hoenn beacuse it just was removed but then they trasmited "Pokemon Cronicles" (episodes that are out of series) but then they just removed it and it is on saturdays only and sundays , I dont know if they are goping to transmit again the show but i have watched the show since kid (i have 17 now) and i don`t like the idea of never watch the end of the anime, this is the worst they have done since airing TOONAMI at 12 pm because well i go to school at 7 am what were they thinking. If they are just not going to air a full anime series then just put it in animax that my point of view i dont know anything a channel called WBkids! but i ptay to watch the conclusion of this anime in a future :'(

PD: Excuse me if my grammar isnt good at all
I pray all nights that the pokemon DS arrives with WIFI connection

Sky One used to air a new episode of Pokémon every weekend at some insane hour like 7:30am, however i'm not sure if they still do. Cartoon Network acquired old Pokémon episodes a while ago over here and I've seen them showing some Pokémon Advanced League episodes from 7:00pm-8:00pm on weekdays so maybe CN took over Pokémon from Sky One? I haven't kept track of the animé for a very long time now so I really don't know.

Well, I don't know much about England Television since I don't live there. It seems that this is the first forum that didn't over react!

I don't know how much you have to pay in the US, but my parents rightfully don't want to pay over £480 ($850) for Sky/Cable TV per year...on top of a TV liscence.

Over $1000 for cable TV? That's expensive, it costs about $500 CDN per year if you're getting basic service.
By the way, I don't live in the US.
