The Nintendo Revolution now has an official name!

Yes, the Nintendo Revolution finally got it's official name today! Nintendo has officially announced it's name as.....Nintendo Wii.

Dolphin was a better name than Gamecube - so this doesnt suprise me in the least. Although having said that Gamecube is deffinatly a better name than Wii... Nintendo Wii - it's got a bizzare ring too it.

and it may not need abreviating... but how long will it be before people are typing NW when talking about it (not counting the fact that I just typed it)

I think I'll still call it Revolution. I hate the new name as it sounds very bad. Worst. Name. Ever. Since. 1985.

I also am going to continue calling it the Revolution, I would no doubt get laughed at by non-Nintendo fans if I called it the Nintendo Wii!

Ummmmm i think i know why they called it that.................... in some countries revolution does not mean revolutionary.......... they would think it means like a revolution (shooting, mass destruction) that would be funny to see............ pokemon creators taking over the earth.............
