How do you make a virtual pet?

gee, its kinda hard to make one isn;'t it? See those fantastic pets drawn by artists in virtual pet sites? now i was wondering how DO you do it?

does anyone know?

I don't know myself, it all comes down to artistic talent really, some people have it and some don't. I wish I had it so I could draw my own

I wish i had it too. Some pet sites say they use Paintshop Pro 4. Where can you get that?

Can you do that with Adobe Photoshop Image Or Paint? coz i only have them.

Paintshop Pro 4 is a very old version of Paintshop Pro, I think the current version is something like 7. In any way, you have to pay hundreds for it, it's expensive commercial software. Adobe Photoshop image will suffice, in my opinion it is superior to Paintshop Pro and is the industry standard. Being Photoshop Image may limit you somewhat (not entirely sure) but it should suffice. Really though all you need is a pencil, some paper and a scanner. I find drawing on a computer really hard.

Try using paint and using the veiw>zoom>Custom>Whatever, I take a really small space, then magnify it by 800%.
