What's that? Someone's coming! Her greyish green orbs scanned the area. They landed on some deer...no that wasn't what she heard. It wasn't the animal she was now smelling, either. On the contrary, it was a new animal. Some rabbits, no that wasn't the scent. Then she spotted the creature her since of smell had picked up. a pure black mountain cat. What did it want? So long as she doesn't come to close... Crystal thought. She smiled, as she recollected the other unfortunate animals that came to close to her liking. The black and white house cat, the wild white horse with brown spots, and of course the lost border collie. All made a tasty meal too. But she had killed others. Killing was, after all, in her nature. Her HAD to kill to survive. An evil smile spread across her face as this newcomer came for a small drink. Stared out at this fellow feline through her greyish whitre orbs; her brownish orangeish coat with black and dark brown spots was 'shining' in the sunlight. This was a perfect nday for killing....but would she be the one nto end this creatures life, or would another. She quickly got up on her feet, and slowly, carefully, walked closer to the river.

The sun was bright today. The sky was now cloudless, and out of her greyish green eyes she could see this feline didn't know WHAT she was. "I. my dear, am a PURE BREED Jaguar. My hunting skills are impressive, and many have fallen prey at my feet just for wondering to close to me. Shall you also be one of those ones?" She questioned, as her left paw gently stratched the ground, her tail swaying slowly back and forth. She was crouched down, ready to lash out and attack.

Tala walked across the land, her white fur swaying in the wind. She looked around, her ears perking up. Deer. They were close. Tala heard her stomach growl, and knew it was time to eat. She walked a bit, till she could see the deer in the distant. She crouched low, and got closer to the deer. The deer stopped, freezing, they knew a hunter was close. Tala remained quiet, the deer quickly lost interest in what they had heard, and let their guard down. That was Tala's chance. Tala sprinted from the bushes, chasing after the deer. The deer ran, definitely not wanting to die as food. Tala chased the deer, after a minute or so, she caught up with a medium size deer. Being a lone wolf, she didn't need a big kill. She jumped onto the deer, biting its neck. The deer fell to the ground, letting out a cry of pain; Tala ripped the flesh of the deer’s neck, blood covering her muzzle. The deer had given up, it let out another cry as its neck got ripped open, after a second or so later passed on. Tala walked over to the deer’s side, and ripped the flesh with her strong teeth, and began to eat.

Crystal went walking around her 'domain'. That's when she spotted the lone wolf. Surely she could go to steal the meat, which she had done countless times, but felt no need. She wasn't hungry, so she kept walking onward. Soon she found it! Her favorite tree in the world to rest in. She jumped onto the closest branch, and then onto another one, and clawed her way up on it. Then she lay down, resting her head on top of her front paws, which were crossed across each other. She watched, as a squirrel ran across the trees, jumping from branch to branch. It jumped onto a branch in her trees, then took off the other direction. She laughed slightly at the sight, then her gaze fell upon a herd of wild horses. To her, horses meant men. Men meant gun, so she quietly snuck out of the tree, and took off another direction, but then froze. Why not leave them a present? The men; she could easily do that. So she crept near them, and they lifted their heads, looking around for the predator. Seeing as they didn't spot her, thanks to her great surrounding, they went back to grazing. She crept closer and closer, very slowly. The longest prey item she spent getting close enough was two hours, and she had enough patience to wait all day. So long as men did not interfer by showing up. She got close enough, and pounced on one horse. THe others immediately galloped off, as she bit into the horses neck. It was the leader. This was not gonig to be an easy kill, for it fought back with its hooves, but she held on. Teeth in the neck and paws clawed right under its neck and in its chest. THe horse got a good lucky strike at Crystal's rib cage, before she killed it. Luckily for her, its damage anything vital for her survival. She then carefully chewed through the neck, and helped to break it off. She carried off the rest of the meat, letting the men owning the horses, that she did not know were wild, know not to mess with her or stay much longer on her territory.
Tala finished her meal, only leaving some meat behind. She ate as much as she could possibly hold, after all there might not be another meal for a couple of days. Tala watched the jaguar with amusement. She watched the big cat take down a horse. Tala looked up in the air, seeing vultures swarming above.

"Hmm.....men....." She said, smelling them. Only couple of miles off. She ran off, in the opposite direction their scent was coming from. Sure enough, to heavy set figures, with guns, showed up on horseback. They shot down a wolf, first. THen a couple more, the whole wolf pack that they could shoot. What hgad managed to run away, ran off. There was no way of stopping a human, usually. Not when they brought their guns. ((OOC: No you can't just say you killed them without drawing out a battle scene in the REAL world of your character winning. These are expert shooters, so they WON'T miss most likely when they shoot at you either!)))
(The wolves would have ran or moved away if they heard the humans comeing, they don't get killed of that easily, and the humans wouldn't have shot the wolves because wolves are not to be hunted, their endagered, unless there in like Alaska or something. But even in Alaska they shouldn't shoot wolves..stupid greedy humans...*mumbles* Sorry, but I had to piont that out, I don't like it when wolves die. ;-; )
Tala's ears perked up, and she heard gun shots in the distance. She growled, and got up.
