Manyula and Manene's U.S. names revealed!

As you may or may not know, I went to 10th anniversary, well I learned something interesting, well here's the story; I happened to come across Manyula and Manene PokÃƒÂ©dolls! I looked at the price tag, and I saw the names!
Manyula: Weavile (I think I heard that name somewhere before, hmmm...<_<)
Manene: Mime Jr. (Who didn't see that coming?)

Weavile is horrible. Definitely should of stuck with Manyula. Oh well.

Yah, talk about boring names, but, if they stuck to the Japanese names the American children might get confused. Blah, kids get more confused with how a riceball is a hamburger, or a donaut!

Well Pikachu's name is Japanese and nobody got confused. Why not just called it : "Elecrat"?

Well, there is such a thing as a Pika, it's a small rodent. I don't know, then again there's; Raichu, Togetic, Togipi, Raikou, ect. I still think it's because they think we're stupit. Remember they have banned some epps. because too meny Japanese refinces, for a while I heard they banned, Princess VS Princess and the other one with kids day.

Princess vs Princess and Kids Day episodes weren't banned... I just wish that PUSA won't tamper with the Japanese text in the anime. North Americans aren't retards ya know!

It's quite common for people to be disgruntled with translated names when they've got used to their original names.

Isn't Weavile like a name of a hunter in Metroid Prime: Hunters?

...I'm so mad right now ...Mime Jr. That's not even original... and Weavile??? isn't that like the pre evoled from of bredril? Lucario was the only one that stayed true to its japanese roots...in Japan the letter l isn't present so the use ru or r ...and the k is common curtousy... just like milk= miruku... back on subject...anyone see Pokem Chronicles yet... -_- please spare yourself the anger i had to fight back...

Why did you get angry from pokemon cronicles? Besides, if the named the basic Mr. Mime, what can you name it's baby besides Mime JR.? Mime Boy?
And to the person that said: I can't imagen jame's.... Pokemon don't always say there name's as a cry! Onix dosn't say "OOONNNIIXX!!!" It says "GRHURL!!!" O.K.? Get the point everyone?

Mr Mime was a poor name in the first place, it placed a set gender on a PokÃƒÂ©mon that was not supposed to have one. Still, it's not as if anyone could have expected the translators to have the foresight to see genders being introduced

You would have thought given a second chance, they would have given Manene a good name but I guess they chose functionality over originality
