Male Lucario
As pointed out in the news, you can see from this scan that in the picture at the bottom of the fight between Lucario and Manyula, both have a male gender symbol. What do you think this means?

However I was under the impression Lucario is a legendary....of which when I look back through the scans, there is no evidence to suggest this as far as I can remember.

Wierd. Besides, what's even wierder is that the legendary trio hasn't come out yet.

Well if Lucario is male ten it's a male. I have no idea why it's male, maybe a 3rd legendary pokemon with a gender.

I don't think so, who said Lucario is a legendary?

Everyone says it's a Legendary. Besides, it should be. You can tell from it's looks. It looks more like a legendary more than anything else.

Just because everyone says it is a legendary does not make it so. In fact, it's very likely that it is in fact not legendary. You have never been able to use a legendary at a demo kiosk yet. It is more likely that Lucario is perhaps a one-off Pokémon, like Mr. Mime, Jynx and Lickitung (in the older games)

Well perhaps. But in my opinion, it looks like a legendary and that's my final opinion.

I.. dont think Lucarios a legendary pokemon. I mean they wont expose a legendary pokemon like that much. And plus on one scan it was lv.30 and legendaries aren't that low. And I agree with Pikachu3828 its a one-off pokemon. Or it could be a sub-legendary like Salamence, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Slaking. Or... lucario could be one of those ' Male-only ' pokemon since I havent seen a female lucario yet!

I think the reason many people have claimed it to be legendary is because it was one of the two main stars of a movie (along with Mew). Since legendary pokemon seem to be the main stars of the movies, it is a logical conclusion that Lucario is a legendary...
Of course this starts the debate once more, exactly how do you define a legendary pokemon?
