what is the best starter for emerald?

I think its mudkip. look:

1st gym=strong
2nd gym=strong/weak
3rd gym=weak
4th gym=strong
5th gym=strong/weak
6th gym=weak
7th gym=strong/weak
8th gym=strong/weak

Mudkip...it will beat most of the pokemon in the game....which is sad because doing that i defeated the game in 22 hours...

wrong u see since when mudkip evolve it ground and water so electric won't hit mudkip and by the time it evolve aready
