You must not have completed Nugget Bridge for this to work.
1. Go to Cerulean City
2. Go to Nugget Bridge
3. Beat the 5 trainers
4. Go back to Cerulean and heal at the Pokemon Center
5. Deposit all Pokemon in the Computer except for your weakest one
6. Spend all your money
7. Go to the top of Nugget Bridge and get a Nugget from the mystery trainer
8. Lose the battle and pay money
9. You will go back to the Pokemon Center
10. Go back up Nugget Bridge and get another Nugget
11. Lose again
12. Go back to PC, get healed, get another Nugget, lose,etc.,etc.,
13. Get rich! $$$$$

This trick will always work and will never run out.
Don't sell your Nuggets until you have a lot!!!

Another way is to get meoath and use pay-day or get the amulet coin.

Or buy tons of stuff and when your in the PL sell all of your stuff(this is how I did it)
