Map Making
We'll make a small beach here.
Ok. here goes:
I know it might take some time to load, but it can be worth it.
You'll need Photoshop.
1. First, download and open the sprite set that you can download on these forums.
2.Next, scroll down to a square of sand, select it, and go to Edit>Define New Patern
3.Make a new document. I made mine 300 by 200
4.Select the whole document. Switch to the Paint Bucket.
5. Make sure your options pallet looks like this and fill the document with sand.
6. Scroll down to this boat and select it. Copy it and paste it in your document.
7. Select some water and go to Edit>Define New Patern
8.Make a selection about half-way up your document.
Then fill it with the new pattern.
9. Now you have a shore, with just a strait line. Select this and go to Edit>Define Pattern.
10.Select like this., and move it up to here and fill it with the new pattern.
11.Thats a basic beach. I'll add more soon.

The universe is not indifferent to intelligence, it is actively hostile to it.
