A voice from the bushes said something.

"shouldn't you two be in school?"

"Maybe."

sao stealthily snuck her backpack with her as she quickly walked out the door.

hoping no one had seen her take her backpack, she dashed out into the hall to find out where kari and leiko had went.

she heard some voices outside that sounded much like leiko's and kari's.

making sure there was no one around to see her, she swung open the door of her school.

Oh man! I nearly forgot!

He raised his hand

"Yes Anshu...." The teacher groaned

"Well, you see....my brother needed my help to put up something today, so my mother has given me permission to leave early so I can help"

He stood up, picked up his pack, and put the letter on her desk. After she read it, she put it down.

"You may go..."

Anshu smiled, "Thanks, later"

Good thing she never asked what we were making.....a sword arena, this'll be awsome!

He opened the school's front door and stepped out

Wonder what they're all doing here?

Leiko kicked the guy with her right leg, stimulusly swinging her left over Kari's bike.

"Change in plans. I'll ride with you."

"WAIT!" shouted sao at the top of her lungs.

she dashed after leiko and kari, completely ignoring anshu and the weird guy.

"Okay hold on." she started the bike and did a donout and stoped in front of the other guy "Hey other guy get the other bikeit's a black ninja.Well if you want to get out of here in one piece"she then went off.

darn! i bet they're gonna go do something fun.

she started back toward the sidewalk, gasping for breath.

uh-oh. i can't go back to the classroom. i've been gone long enough. the teacher will be suspicious. hmmm... school's almost over. i guess i'll just hang around until school ends. too bad i missed that field trip. if only i had turned in that permission slip sooner. wait a minute... what am i going to tell the teacher tomorrow?

by then sao had noticed anshu and the other guy.

before sao could say another word, the guy ran to the back of the building.

she didn't bother to follow him; she didn't care.
