I got mew on pokemon yellow! Ha Ha! Also by using the short mew trick!

Do you think doing this could damage the game at all? Or is it an intentional glitch? I'm just worried thats all. Oh and does this work on Yellow version?

It doesn't work with Yellow, using it on Yellow causes a Missingno. There's no damage except if you really screw up badly.
