I tried to get Transform once (Cause a Ditto randomly appeared) and it didn't work, and, well... How exactly could you get metronome? :?

No, no, she meant how would you get Smeargle to learn Metronome. Smeargle cannot learn any TMs and Metronome is transformed into a different move before it hits the Pokémon

I remember seeing somewhere that if an opponent attempts to use a move, but it's disabled or the such, you can still sketch it, so maybe if smeragle were to use taunt, and it stops transform, you could then get it. Meternome, however, I'm not so sure about. I think though, that if you could get a pokemon that only knows metronome to sleep, then you could sketch that too, after they try to attack.

There's a simple solution to both the Metronome and Transform questions, as well as other powerful moves that would normally KO a Smeargle with it's low defences before it could Sketch, like Explosion and Aeroblast.

Put Pokemon you want to learn from to sleep
Have said pokemon use the move you want to Sketch, while Smeargle uses Sketch.

Even though the Pokemon is asleep, it is still trying to use a move, and therefore Smeargle can Sketch it.

i know the sketch teachnique!

let smeargle sketch "lock on" with magneton on double battle.
and sketch "sheer cold" from kyogre in double battle.
in battle use lock on then use sheer cold is 100% KO!
only work on lower lvl pokemon!

I think the sketch tactic is foolish. I mean take a look at its stats and its type.

You just have to be clever. That being said, I don't actually own one. But it involves the moves failing.

BTW, You might want to try Spore, Stat raising moves and Baton Pass.

I have a lot of Smeargles. One of them has Sheer Cold, Mean Look, Spore and Lock-On; another AromaTherapy, Wish, Toxic and Attract; and one more with Baton Pass, Calm Mind, Bulk Up and Spore.
English is not my first language, but Japanese is

If you mean that Smeargle being a normal-type Pokémon is a bad thing, I don't quite follow you. There are a lot of normal-type Pokémon... A LOT...

And usually Smeargle aren't used for their attack or special attack stats anyways... (They tend to have movesets that FireBall Latios posted.) I was just thinking about the possibilities for breeding since Smeargle is in the largest breeding group, and since it apparently is capable of learning any attack, it might be worthwhile for me to try getting Smeargle to learn the attacks I need. (*coughTMs!cough*)
