"if flare does not come to his match in the next minute, he will be disqualified," the announcer boomed with annoyance.

"oh man! i totally forgot!" flare shouted, over the noise of the cheering crowd.

he dashed to his match.

"good luck, squirly!"

"hey just wait a minute..." Gnawer said as Flare ran franticly to the match.

"hey Jolt, Vine you watch Squrily's Match and I'll go and watch Flare's ok?"

*Gnawer stands up and runs after Flare*

"Tell me about Squirly's match afterwards!" he calls out to Jolt and Vine

(at Flare's match)

"whew i made it" Gnawer said tired from running "wow thats some flareon it

looks much bigger then a normal sized one i hope Flare will be alright..."

*worries* and what about Squrily thought Gnawer silently he has to go up

against gengar... but im sure Squirly can take him. and i think Flare can to

he said confidently to himself with a nerveous look in his eyes

"i thought you had chickened out," said flareon.

"not going to happen while i'm here," replied flare with a smirk.

"let the match begin!" the announcer yelled, sounding more irritated than ever.

Jolt: Man im so bumed out I cant belive I lost
*He kicked a can*
*Charizard bumped into him*
Charizard: Hey good match Jolt I thought I had you beat, well im going to see Alakazam and Tyrantars match I hope they dont get carried away like at practice HAHA.
Jolt: Thanks I feel better now.

flareon began the match with a quick attack.

"whoa!"

flareon zoomed right next to flare, making him trip.

"what was that for? you didn't even try to hit me!" screamed flare.

"i'm just toying with you," said flareon with a sneer.

"don't get cocky," flare retorted, getting up.

Meanwhile Squirly is in trouble as the shadow balls closed in!
"There are to many to water gun every one of them!"Squirly said to himself.
"I'm going to have to dodge them all somehow!"
"Times up Squirly!"Gengar said trying to put Squirly off but Squirly wasn't taking it!
"I got it!!!"Squirly shouted out!
Then he used quick attack + Rapid spin + Withdraw to do a shell spin out of the way and spin round Gengar!
"Hmmmm......Nice move for a Squirtle you never fail to impress me!"Gengar said to Squirly.
"I'm not done yet!"Squirly said still spinning around Gengar!
Then he used double team to make a multi-shell spin!
Then he moved around in a wierd formation to make sure Gengar couldn't see the real one anywhere then he used a hydro pump (He was planning on doing water gun but he learned hydro pump!) and the hydro pump was everywhere so that Gengar couldn't tell where the attack came from!
"Hmmmm...you still impress me but that won't win this match!"Gengar said to Squirly!
"So you like my Multi-shell spin hydro blast?"Squirly asked.
"Well kind of but it isn't good enough to beat me!"Gengar ansered using night shade everywhere!
"Gaaaa!"Squirly cried getting hit!
"Hey you baby check my made up move!"Gengar said to Squirly using night shade to make tripwire like lines everywhere around the field!
Then Gengar walked right through them towards Squirly!
"This is my game called tripwire shadow punching! Here's what you do, you dodge my shadow punches and the tripwires!"Gengar said teasing Squirly!
"Dang that is tough! But he is right I can't hit the night shade or it hurts me but if I sstand here and don't go through them he hits me with shadow punch!"Squirly said to himself!
"Begin!!!"Gengar shouted launching a shadow punch at Squirly!
But Squirly jumped away but caught his foot on a night shade!
"Owch!!"Squirly cried out!
Then Squirly landed and said,"I got to be more careful!"
"Times running out for you!"Gengar shouted launching another shadow punch!
Just then Squirly started glowing very bright!
"What is this??"Gengar asked.
"I think I just evolved!"Squirly said!
"Does that mean you are changing your name to "Warly?"Gengar asked.
"Nope I like Squirly better!"Squirly replied.

Gnawer watched Flare's match (because he was not at squrily's match)

he saw that the large

was playing around

that made Gnawer think if Flare gets distracted what will happen...and why is

flareon playing around is Flareon that srong or waiting for thr right moment to

attack... gnawer got so nerveous that he bought a small bag of popcorn to

gnaw on while he watched the match

He also kept cheering Flare on

"GO FLARE! dont let that pest get to you!!!" shouted Gnawer at the top of his

lungs so he could be heard over the roarding of the crowd

"did that little shrimp just call me a pest?"

flareon was glaring at gnawer so hard, she forgot about the match.

flare seized the moment to attack.

"you should keep your eyes on your opponent!" flare shouted.

he curled into a little ball and spun in the air.

flareon turned around a second too late.

flare tackled flareon hard in the stomach.

"ugh..." she moaned noisily.

flare felt his whole body tingle.

what's this feeling?

Squirly is still thinking about what Gengar said about him changing his name?!?!
"Well I suppose Squirly doesn't fit a Wartortle as much as a Squirtle. Maybe I should be called Warly now.... no how about Whirly?"Squirly said!
"Whatever you just let your gaurd down and I think Whirly would be perfect when I make you go whirling!!!!!!!!"Gengar shouted charging at Squirly!
"You where so busy that you didn't see I had my hand behind my back while making it look like I put my gaurd down you sucker!!!"Squirly shouted taking his hand from behind his back to show it was ready for a ice punch!!!!
"Whaaaaat?!?!?!?!"Gengar shouted unable to stop himself flying at Squirly!!!
"See how you like your own night shade!!!!!"Squirly shouted using ice punch on the beam that was inline with Gengar freezing right through Gengar and trapping him where he was!!!!!!!!
"You pest of a Squirtle i'll beat you next time!!!!"Gengar shouted knowing he has no way of fighting!!!
"And to finish up I have a suprise move for you!!"Squirly said to Gengar!
"But for now Bubble and ice punch!"Squirly shouted useing bubble to reflect all the night shade to Gengar and ice punch to freeze them all!!!!!
"Now I'm ready to finish this!!!!"Squirly shouted using hail!
"A hail is that all you have?"Gengar asked.
"That is just to start it off and boost my attack!"Squirly shouted back!"Now here is the real attack!!!!"
Then Squirly used blizzard to completely freeze Gengar!
"Gengar is unable to battle so Squirly wins!!!!!!!!!!"The announcer shouted!
Then Squirly ran over to the others that where watching and said,"Hey do you think I should change my name to Whirly?"

by the time flare landed on his feet, he was a charmeleon.

"whoa! sweet!" flare yelled, extremely satisfied.

flareon strained to get up.

"what? when did that happen?!"

"maybe you should be on your guard more!" flare shouted.

he was now a bit bigger than flareon, so he charged at her and tackled her.

OOC: i think it's a nice name.

*Gnawer gasp as Flare evolved*

'wow Flare evolved! i cant belive it this is so cool! i wonder when i'll evolve'

Pondered Gnawer to himself then he shouted loudly " Get 'im Flare its just a

small flareon now !!! it wont be a problem now!!! " once again as stubborn as

the Flareon was Flareon turned his gaze on Gnawer like expecting for him to

say more but Flareon quickly turned back into the battle looking at Flare.

Gnawer then got very nervous about what the Flareon would do to him if he met

the Flareon after the Torney.

flare bounced back as flareon nudged him off.

let's try a flamethrower.

flare made a hot flame with flamethrower.

"yow! that's hot stuff!" flareon shouted with frustration.

"and i thought you were a fire pokÃƒÂ©mon," flare teased, impressed at his own attack.

"i'll show you who has the hotter flame."

flare and flareon both used flamethrower.

flare's was surprisingly stronger and knocked back flareon.

"ooh... i'll get you next time~" flareon mumbled.

"and flare goes to the next round!" the announcer screamed at the top of his lungs.

Meanwhile Tyranitar and Alakazam are battling in a sandstorm!
"I can't see a thing."Squirly muttered to himself.
"What is this I think the sand storm is clearing!"The announcer shouted.
"And it looks like Tyranitar has won!!!"The announcer said!
"Well I'm going to check the board!"Squirly said.
Squirly read the board and it showed the table!

SEMI-FINAL!!!!!!!!!!

Vs

"Well with only 4 left and 3 of us there was 100% chance 2 of us would fight each other and the other has to fight an A.C.T so the odds where always on us and I got to fight a A.C.T well at least I wanted to fight an A.C.T!"Squirly said.
Then Tyranitar walked over to the board and saw he had to face Squirly!
"Good look Squirly I've been watching you and wanted to fight you in the finals but now is as good a time as ever!"Tyranitar said to Squirly,"Thanks Tyranitar I was hoping to fight you too!"Squirly replied.
"Well isn't that a suprise when I saw you fight Skarmory 1-1 I saw a great potentail in you and just knew you would be a good fighter and make a good member of a rescue team and could you tell that to the rest of your team I think they will be the best rescue team in a long time!"Tyranitar said back!
"But I'm not holding back at the match and I hope you won't either!"Tyranitar said to Squirly in a battle like voice!
"I won't hold back one bit so you better be ready!"Squirly said back in a battle voice!
