Does anyone know how to get past those huge Piranha-trees in New Super Mario brothers ( World 2-4 I think or 2-3)

I keep dying since I can Jump over it or Sneak past it... and I dont have Dash-Mario to shoot it either

I beat the new super mario brothers game I'll just play it again and say how i beat them.

EDIT:Just dash and jump over it or use the flower to burn it
I normal dash and jump right over it

Two words: Fire Flower! Use this item to kill the huge Piranha trees in a few hits.
