What's behind Cubone's mask?

I meant what it looked like, not necessarily what the designers had in mind when it came round to designing cubone. It looks very much like a baby kangaskhan, however.

lets get this strait ok this is a show for little kids they didnt go far enough to make tiny details like that.the marowak and cubone look like mini t-rexs. thats my thoughs though

Maybe they'd surprise us one day and have Cubone reveal what it looked like underneath its skull... Actually, scratch that, if Cubone ever does take off its skull, they'd probably just censor it. XD

Even if they did, they will just show the back. On another note, they never showed Prof. Farnsworth in Futurama without his thick glasses.

Off topic but nevertheless, it depends what you mean by "showed". Technically he's taken off his glasses in a few episodes, so they've showed him without his glasses, but we've never seen him without them on, he's always off-screen or not facing the camera while they're off.

His eyes are whiteish. You can see through the mask.

well I think cubone's head is shaped like the mask he wears because of this image..

Nice image, but in an earlier ep his mask spun on his head, then spotted on it backwards, so the eye sockets were placed where on the back of his head. More believe to lead that his head isn't shaped like his mask. someone could have drawn that, or if its how they do it, then maybe it cvould be, and the bone on his head was only hit hard enough to spin so....though I think the first idea makes since (to me anyways).

Though, you know each to their own. You can't really be sure unless they made an ep where the bone came off the head....
