Here's how to unlock all the other characters you havent unlocked yet
Jigglypuff, Young Link, Roy and Marth
Dr. Mario - Complete 1-P classic using Mario without using a continue. You can play at any difficulty and at any stock level. Or you can play 100 Vs matches
Falco - First complete 100 man melee then defeat Falco when he apears to challenge you. Or you can play 300 Vs matches
Ganondorf - Complete Event 29, then defeat Ganondorf when he challenges you. or play 600 vs matches
Luigi - In adventure mode complete stage 2 by crossing the finish line with a 2 in the seconds metet (03.12.37 for example) In the scene before the Mario and Peach V you match, Luigi will come in and kick Mario away... then defeat Luigi and Peach, finish adventure mode and then fight Luigi again when he challenges you. Alternitavly play 800 Vs matches
Mewtwo - Play 20 hours total time in vs mode or play 700 Vs matchs, then beat Mewtwo when he challenges you
Pichu - Complete Event 37 then defeat Pichu when he challenges you. or you can play 200 Vs match
Mr Game & Watch - Complete 1-P classic AND 1-P Adventure (at any Difficulty/Stock) with ALL other characters, including the ones above that you havent unlocked yet. After that, defeat him in battle. Or you can play 1,000 Vs matches
As for character trophies, there are 3 trophies for each character, one for completing 1-P Classic with a character, one for completing 1-P Adventure with a character and one for completing All-Star mode with a character (you'll unlock all star mode when you unlock Mr Game & Watch)
Jigglypuff, Young Link, Roy and Marth

Right... had to look this one up because I never heard of it before. Anyway, here you go - Wavedashing.
Basically Wavedashing allows you so glide along the floor. how you do it is a little tricky, not hard but you definatly need better than ninja like reactions.
To do it what you need to do is Jump then Airdodge diaganally into the ground. You character will glide along the ground in thier landing possition and white smoke flashes out of your boots. The closer to the ground you can do it the better. infact for best results, you need to do it before it looks like you've left the ground or you need to do it just before you land from a high dodge.
Character tractions seem to affect it. Characters with low traction like Luigi and Ice Climbers have long wavedashes, while those with high traction like peach and zelda have short wavedashes. Also the areas you dash in can affect your traction, so wavedashing on an oil spil in the flatzone will increase your wavedash.
So why would you want to do it? When you're wavedashing, you can do ANYTHING. It gets rid of the inhibitions that go along with running such as lag at the end of the animation. When you're wavedashing you have every possible attack open to you, and you can also roll, shield, spot dodge, jump, wavedash, crouch, or dash. Wavedashing also lets you move backwards without turning around, allowing for quick dodges and immediate retaliation.
I hope that helps and if you need more info I've got a web page that explains the whole lot for you.

Stamina mode - Similar to the Master Hand match where people have a Health Points that go down when hit instead of a percentage which goes up. it's under special rules in the verses menu.
Smash attack - what you have to do with quickly and sharply push the control stick in a direction and press A. You know if you got it right if you practice Holding A, since you can charge up smash attack. the only tip i can give you is pretty much break your control stick flicking it to one side.
Pokemaniac will be updated the next time i get a chance to play pokemon diamond... i have been extremly busy recently.

I personally find it easy to smash attack. You don't need great speed, the window of opportunity is fairly lenient.

100 Man Melee. Easiest way to beat any of the mulit-man melee matches is to use DK and his ground pound (Down B)... and keep using it. you want it to be continues and not stop for a second... then watch them fly out of the screen
I think your talking about Event 24: The Yoshi Heard. DK and ground pound could work here if the yoshi's fell on you and attacked you, but they tend to run off too... so pick your best character and just keep up the smash attacks, especially if you can up smash as they fall. just keep at it and you'll get this one eventually
