so basically, there are pokémon co-ordinators that travel across hoenn and enter several pokémon contests. we don't meet each other until our first contest, in which we all enter. much later in the roleplay we will make it into the grand festival. MUCH later. also there will be some made-up towns like in the anime (for example, rubello town was in the anime, yet it's not an official town). everyone will start off with one pokémon, then catch a few more on the way.
just a few. we will all travel together, unless you prefer to travel on your own or with someone else that has agreed to travel with you. last thing, i have one rule. don't try to win all the time, give others a chance. by that, i'm also referring to the "computers". do not control the judges too much either, and say that you get a perfect 10 and your opponent gets a 0. for rivals, you can have a made-up character or someone real if they have agreed to be your rival. remember, rivals are only optional.
